To enjoy a seamless Wi-Fi experience, it is advisable to disable the Private Wi-Fi address/Randomised MAC Feature on your device. This feature is turned on by default on newer devices, and it can cause frequent disconnections from the Wi-Fi network due to a random MAC address being assigned to your account. To avoid this, follow these simple steps to turn off the setting:

Fire Tablet

1. Go to settings, click internet

2. Click Wi-fi Preferences

3. Connect to Parkdean Customer

4. Click the cog to the right of the network name

5. Copy the MAC address

6. Log in to your My Account and click “Device Management” along the top.

7. Click “Add Device”, write “Fire Tablet”, and select “Tablet.”

8. Enter the Physical Address and click “Save”.

The device will be added to your account.

Alternatively, following these steps, you can register the devices with the first device you log in on.

1. To log in, follow the steps described above on your first device. From the Device Management tab on the dashboard click add new device

2. On the new device you wish to add turn off randomised/private mac address like in the steps at the top of this page and copy the 12-digit MAC Address from the same page you turn off the Randomised Mac/Private Wi-Fi Address setting.

3. Click Add device.

4. Type in a device name e.g. My Tablet

5. Add the 12-digit MAC address into the MAC address field and click Add Device.
